Targets!

In sales, targets are meant to help you set your direction. Some find high sales targets ridiculous, some find it useful to challenge oneself. Some find high sales targets pressuring.

I find my sales targets....
a) ridiculously high but not impossible
b) keep me to my feet-focus
c) challenging.

Nonetheless, i was blessed and flabbergasted when i was told that i've achieved and exceeded my Quater 1 sales target! (: My first reaction when my name was called- i sat there quietly.dazed.incoherent. i was praising HIM for all that HE has done. I was so afraid to take this route initially, so afraid of not being able to cope but HE proved to me that HE indeed has a plan for me! Thank YOU!

The achievers-

Updated!

Hello, peeps!

Happy Chinese Ox Year! (ah, my year *grins*) As promised. I'm finally updating this thing! Sue me. It's 2009 and I'm gonna be 24! The clock is ticking.

Yeah, I know I've been MIA for a bit. Blame it on work! Well, I know many of you have heard this from me probably a gazillion times? but once again, I would like to apologize for not being able to join you peeps for the many social activities planned. I feel bad.seriously. I will work out my social bit for '09, i promise.

I've been EXTREMELY busy with work.Gosh, I couldn't emphasize it more with the caps. Yes, work have been taking the life out of me especially with the gloomy economy situation."Oh boy, here she goes again....".I know many of you commented that I don't sound like a 23 . Instead, I sound so much older than my age! wouldn't know if it's an insult or a compliment. Nonetheless, I shall now refrain myself from talking about work.

Let's see. 2008 has past. Like every other years, I've done my part, reflecting.
So, here's a brief recap of 2008:-
  • Stepped into the working world. Trust me. It wasn't that fun after all.
  • Turned from a small town naive girl to a less naive(I would say, i'm a little street smarTER now)
  • Officially started baking and cooking.
  • Turned 23!
  • Met and be friends with Joel Neoh. I must say he's one humble chap, probably one of the nicest young entrepreneurs that I've ever met(:
  • Met Jeff from 98 Degree.
  • Met Alan Yun (:
  • Met Marion Counter
  • Met Mickey and Minnie mouse.
  • Met some overinflated self- importance clients.
  • Learned how to deal with people. Two-faced people, mind you.(Thank you for giving me the experience of working with you)
  • Learned how to handle office politics a little better.
  • Made great new friends from company
  • Stood up for myself
  • Started kick-boxing, latin dance and gym!
  • Started going back and forth into the dating scene.
  • Rejected great opportunities and awesome work offers. (darn, look how dumb i was back then)
  • Learned how to be a bigger person. Now, I finally know what's real forgiveness is like.
  • Learned how to handle stress and anger. Never knew I have that much anger in me till i started working. In need of a retail therapy and maybe an anger management?:P
  • From a direction noob to someone who can give directions. I've never driven so much in my life!
  • Kick start the contact lenses project. One of the highlight of my 2008.
  • Attended 3 weddings and a funeral.
  • Started a blog.
  • Traveled to Indonesia(for mission), Singapore, Hong Kong and Shenzen in a year
  • Owned a Coach bag (:

As for 2009, I want to be a little more optimistic! With optimism, even the hardest challenges would seem easy. So, peeps, be optimistic even with the sluggish economy situation and things will go your way (:

The event.

Pictures speak a thousand words.

The event finally ended. It ended with a bang! Well, at least the bosses are smiling. It was indeed a bittersweet experience. After much long hours of hard work, waking up at 4am, working 26 hours on weekends, 13 hours of walking with heels ( the price of vanity :P ), bombing cars with postcards, carrying lots and lots of magazines and it was all worth while to see the smile on people's face, knowing that we've done something right. A job that puts a smile on people's face, catering to their needs and helping them to make informed decisions. Well, this is what I do. This is my job.
